The Season Playbook

Practice 1 was free. This is Practices 2 through 10, written out exactly the same way: minute by minute, what to do, what to say, in what order.

If the First-Practice Playbook got you through your first practice, you already know the problem it solved. The problem comes back every week. What do we run Tuesday? What do we install next? When do the plays go in? The Season Playbook answers all of it for the rest of the season, so the night-before planning takes zero minutes: open the book, read the next practice, run it.

What's inside

9 full practice scriptsPractices 2 through 10, each a complete 60-minute plan in the free script's format: timed blocks, word of the day, what to say, a copy-paste parent text, and the troubleshooting note for the thing that always goes wrong.
An expanded 5v5 play libraryThe five free plays are just the start. The Playbook adds the next set of standard plays, each diagrammed with who does what, when to call it, and the one coaching cue that makes it work.
15 printable drill cardsThe five flag-pulling foundation cards plus ten more for throwing, catching, defense, and footwork. Each card: setup, how to run it, the cue, and the fix for the mistake every kid makes.
Wristband play sheetsEvery play condensed to wristband lines, ready to print and tape to your quarterback's arm on game day.
The Game Day GuideYour first game comes before Practice 2. Setting the lineup, calling plays from the wristband, rotating every kid fairly, adjusting the defense while the game is moving, running your sideline and halftime, plus a one-page clipboard sheet for game day.

How the season runs

  • Practices 2–5: one new play a week (Out, Hitch, Sweep, Flood) while the fundamentals get reps every single practice.
  • Practice 6: defense: man or zone, where to put your players, and how to stop getting burned deep.
  • Practice 7: quarterback and routes: throwing mechanics and the route tree, taught through reps.
  • Practices 8–9: game situations (third down, red zone, the two-minute drill) and a full scrimmage with a second look at every kid.
  • Practice 10: game-week prep and finishing the season the right way.

Who it's for

First-time parent coaches running a 5v5 team, ages 6–10. If you have coached for years, you do not need this. If you volunteered last week and practice is Tuesday, it was written for you.
